Hi; Just found this blog 1-2 weeks ago...one of my favorite Lou Reed/tour periods.
    Gotta love that Ezrin Machine!

    I have a few questions from these dozen+ g_e_m_s you've posted...
As the last comment was a year ago I wanted to check if anyone was there 'listening' before I run my 'bibliographic' questions by you...

    Anyone there to answer?

    thanx

    Heh-heh...
    Okay,here goes the triumphirate:-

    1. downloaded the 'series'...with the themtaically identical covers were these listings,ROIOs though they may be,conceived an executed as a single set of this spectacular and important tour...
or (not that it would be bad)...did a fan, perhaps even yourself, download all of these from various sources over time, and then execute the art to create an imaginary set as they really do & should have the importance to BE a set (for lack of a better comparison, like the RHINO-released recently set of the 80 CDs making up the entire Grateful Dead 1972 European tour...or the Tarantura set covering the 1980 Led Zeppelin European tour..?

    2. Question 2:-
I am curious as to the 2 separate album releases for most dates...I think one date even has 3 separately titled downloads..any knowldege as to the thought behind that?

    3.Question last:-
Some concerts are clearly audience...some sure seem to be soundboard...who knows, even a matrix or 2 on some listens...

Would you be so kind(assuming you know) to give a list of which are Audience, which are soundboards,& which are Matrices?
The readmes themselves are non-revealing on every download
    ..................................................

Hey in any case ,thank you for listing this beautiful series of concerts; historically I really feel they merit a commercial deluxe package, dated as that 70-s over-the-top rocker sound is.

    Sincerely,

  5. BERLIN TO, ROCK n ROLL MAMMAL, PHANTOM ANIMAL and ROCK N ROLL ANIMAL audio files came from cookingfive.blogspot. Some of his stuff was sold on the net so he deleted his links and went "Invitation Only". I created covers and made it all available. If you got the concerts from his blog then all you need is B-T-73 if you want my covers. All the rest CHRISTIANIA, ROSSO et al comes from yours truly. I left the sound as is because it's all for reference only and not the definitive article. Your reference to the creation of a box set is interestng. I for one would be first in line to buy a legit release of the master tapes. Possibilities could be the entire Lenox concert together with the pre rehearsals. The whole European tour as one box. Then the American tour spread over two boxes together with the pre rehearsals. Lou did a run of concerts (I've no idea how many) at the Academy Of Music, New York and all were professionally recorded so would merit a box set with the between song banter and tuning kept intact as befits such a remarkable and historical event. Lou has always refused to acknowledge the tour so it's all by the bye. Understandable considering how critics slated "Berlin". At the time I considered it a work of pure genius. People are slow to understand the artistic brilliance of Lou's entire output.
